Bourns Adds New Common Mode Chip Inductor Series to its Growing Line of AEC-Q200 Compliant, Automotive Grade Magnetics Products

RIVERSIDE, Calif., September 22, 2025 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today added a new common mode chip inductor series to its AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive grade Magnetics product line. Designed to provide effective EMI suppression and noise filtering, Bourns® SRF3225TAP Series Common Mode Chip Inductors feature a compact footprint, and deliver high impedance with values from 500 to 1000 ohms and support high current up to 2 A.

In addition, Bourns® SRF3225TAP Series has a shielded construction for low radiation while offering a broad operating temperature range from -55 °C to +150 °C. These features and capabilities make Bourns® latest inductors a superior choice for protecting sensitive devices, enhancing signal integrity and increasing reliability in noise filters and DC power lines in consumer, industrial, and other electronic products as well as automotive systems.

The Bourns® SRF3225TAP Series Common Mode Chip Inductors are available now through Bourns’ authorized distribution partners, and are RoHS* compliant and halogen free**. **Bourns considers a product to be "halogen free" if (a) the Bromine (Br) content is 900 ppm or less; (b) the Chlorine (Cl) content is 900 ppm or less; and (c) the total Bromine (Br) and Chlorine (Cl) content is 1500 ppm or less.
