Bourns manufactures a variety of modular connectors for board-to-board and board-to-device connections. These modular connectors are suitable for cellular and DECT phones, laptop computers, portable medical and test equipment, and rechargeable battery packs due to their tiny and stackable design and precious metal contacts.

Each connector is used to connect electric circuitry from one device to another. It produces narrow pitch connectors, which are tiny precision connections used in smartphones and other electronics. Precise plastic components are made with a pitch of just 0.25 mm between terminals thanks to the superior metal mold and forming technology.

Bourns modular connectors are long-lasting RoHS compliant components with gold-plated contacts for higher current handling capacity, longer mating cycles, and decreased contact resistance.
