Riverside, Calif., April 3, 2024
Dear Customer,
As you are likely already aware, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan in the early morning of April 3, 2024.
Firstly, Bourns is thankful to report that its employees in Taiwan are all safe and our local production facility located in Linkou, in the northern part of Taiwan, has not been damaged.
Secondly, we can confirm that there are currently no identified logistical issues resulting from this event and no need to reroute or modify any delivery schedules or consider alternative routes at this time.
Thirdly, we reached out to our supply chain and the majority have reported no impact. We will continue to follow up with the few remaining.
We do not anticipate any interruption to the deliveries of supplies / materials to Bourns' facility located in Linkou, Taiwan nor do we anticipate interruptions to our currently scheduled deliveries of finished products to our customers.
If, in the unlikely event your shipments are directly affected by this earthquake over the next few days as Taiwan recovers and we receive reports from the few remaining suppliers, a Bourns customer service representative or account manager will be contacting you directly with more details.
We thank you for your continued trust in Bourns.
Best regards,
BOURNS, INC.
