In its eighth year, the Markt & Technik awards honor top performing managers with a history of success from seven industry categories
RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 7, 2022 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that the company's Vice President EMEA Sales, Ferdinand Leicher, has been named as one of three Managers of the Year for Passive Components by the readers of Markt & Technik magazine in Germany. The annual awards, now in their eighth year, honor top performing managers from seven industry categories -- batteries/rechargeable batteries, electromechanics, embedded systems, semiconductors, passive components, supply chain and sustainability.
More than 7,000 readers of Markt & Technik cast their votes for the Manager of the Year Award this year, and the winners were announced on May 19 at the annual Markt & Technik 'Spitzentreffen' (high-level conference). Markt & Technik editors invite known successful managers from market-leading companies to submit their profiles to be considered for the award where there are typically 10 to 15 managers invited in each category.
