Bourns® Dual-Winding Shielded SMD Power Inductors for DC-DC Converters

Bourns® Series Dual-Winding Shielded SMD Power Inductors are for use in SEPIC topology.

As an industry leading supplier of power inductors, Bourns' latest inductor technology, the dual-winding shielded SMD power inductor, is made for Single-Ended Primary-Inductor Converters (SEPIC) topology and DC-DC converters. A coupled inductor is used to increase or maintain the input voltage at the output, occupies less board space as a single package, and is more cost effective than two individual inductors. These top performing SMD power inductor components are used in SEPIC topology, and power supplies for communication equipment, notebooks, desktop computers, servers, LCDs, flat panels, backlights, camcorders, HDTVs. Dual-winding shielded SMD power inductors are magnetically shielded, RoHS compliant (RoHS Directive 2015/863, Mar 31, 2015 and Annex) and feature low radiation.

The Bourns® Model SRF0703, SRF0703A, SRF1260, SRF1260A, and SRF1280 Series dual-winding shielded SMD power inductors are designed with dual winding in magnetic shielded packages and allow for multiple configurations: parallel, series, dual-inductor and transformer. Designed with magnetically shielded construction, these parts emit low radiation. Through external wiring, a dual-winding inductor can be configured in parallel or in series to achieve many different selections of rated currents and inductances. These inductors have a high-coupling coefficient that is also suitable for 1:1 power transformer and common mode choke noise filtering applications. The magnetic shield of the inductor keeps radiation to a minimal level for applications where a low noise environment is essential.
