Riverside, Calif., May 5, 2014 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced the release of a new dual ball bearing option to its popular Model 3549 10-turn precision potentiometer. The new option is available in the Hybritron® servo-mount version, and is capable of 10 million shaft revolutions with up to 250 grams of side load. Designed specifically for industrial, medical and aerospace machine-to-machine (M2M) applications, the upgraded ball bearing model option is also RoHS* compliant.

Bourns® Model 3549 with the dual ball bearing option is suitable for use under some side load conditions and features a standard servo mount. Optional 0.1 % linearity and optional A/R lug are also available. It is an excellent choice for an extensive range of M2M applications including farming and forestry equipment, off-road equipment used in construction, aircraft landing gears, production line equipment, packaging automation, patient diagnostic equipment and patient laser and radiation treatment equipment.
