高電流 GDT サージアレスタデバイスは、極めて大きいインパルス放電電流を処理することを目的として設計されています。一般に、これらの GDT は、サージ防護デバイス(SPD)で活用され、8/20 μs 時 40~100 kA のインパルス電流耐量を有します。
