Riverside, Calif., October 7, 2014 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today released an additional LAN 10/100/1000 Base-T Transformer model designed specifically for Ethernet-based applications with Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality. This latest model delivers an extended operating temperature (-40 to +85 °C) making it ideal for harsh environment applications. Designated Bourns® Model SM51589PEL, the company's new LAN transformer can be used as an alternate component to Bourns' existing Model SM51589EL. In addition, Bourns' Model SM51589EL is compliant with IEEE802.3 standards and features 5K VAC dielectric withstanding voltage.
