Decision to expand Macnica’s sales territory is due to its extensive regional support throughout Asia and demonstrated success in Japan
RIVERSIDE, Calif., February 4, 2026 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced that it has extended its existing Japan territory distributor relationship with Macnica to now include the entire Asia-Pacific region. Effectively immediately, Macnica is named as a full line distribution partner with sales responsibility for China, Taiwan, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, and Australia/New Zealand in addition to Japan. Originally selected in 2024 for their excellent Japanese Tier 1 customer relationships, Macnica has been particularly successful in representing Bourns® components to Japanese automotive market companies.
