Dear Customer,
Bourns, Inc. and its subsidiaries (“Bourns”) continue to review information and recommendations provided by public health authorities in connection with the recent outbreak of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Influenza virus.
Currently, all Bourns offices and manufacturing facilities, including those located in Mexico, are unaffected by the outbreak and operations continue as normal. At this time, Bourns is not aware of any of its employees contracting the H1N1 virus.
Bourns is monitoring the situation closely, including the safety of its employees and the continuity of supplies to its customers. In connection therewith, Bourns continues to evaluate potential supply chain alternatives in the event of disruption.
Earlier this week, Bourns issued guidelines to its employees worldwide based on recommendations from public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The CDC guidelines can be found online at: https://www.cdc.gov/swineflu/.
Bourns will continue to assess the situation and provide updates as required. For further information, customers should contact their local Bourns representative.
Yours truly,
Dennis C. Lause
Sr. Vice President, Worldwide Sales
