RIVERSIDE, Calif., February 5, 2018 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today released a new 24 mm potentiometer designed for use in light industrial applications such as test and measurement, communications, clean energy and select medical and diagnostic equipment. Supporting the long cycle life and high reliability needed for these applications, the Bourns® Model PDF241 potentiometer features various flatted and slotted shaft lengths and a long-life carbon element that is capable of up to 1 million shaft revolutions.
The latest potentiometer from Bourns has a 0.5 watt power rating and IP40 dust seal rating. It also features an extended temperature (-10 °C to +85 °C) operating range, anti-rotation pin and metal shaft, and is available in a variety of standard resistance values and audio or linear tapers. Available in a bushing mount configuration with standard solder lugs, the new long-life Bourns® potentiometer offers a highly-versatile panel mount solution that delivers excellent reliability and durability.
