RIVERSIDE, Calif., April 6, 2016 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that it has joined the OPEN Alliance (One-Pair Ether-Net) Special Interest Group (SIG) as an adopter member. The non-profit, open industry standards group is comprised of mainly automotive industry and technology providers. The goal of OPEN Alliance is for companies to work together to promote broad Ethernet-based adoption as the automotive networking standard. Since its inception, the OPEN Alliance SIG has grown to more than 200 members.
