概述
由於行動通訊運算與視聽設備市場之小型化需求,半導體產業研發出更小型的電子元件,目前在設計小型電子系統時面臨到主機板空間不足的問題,因此加速電子元件替代封裝的需求。功能整合與小型化為成功關鍵!

為達到小型化需求,Bourns新一代晶片二極體因應而生,能以最少成本封裝提供矽二極體。鍍有銅/鎳/金接點的小訊號二極體0603、1005、1206 等晶片二極體為無鉛產品,而其他封裝(SMA, SMB, SMC, 1408, 1607, 2010, 2419, 8L NSOIC, 16L NSOIC, SOT23, SOT23-6, 16L WSOIC)是採用百分之百的錫製接點。所有Bourns®的二極體皆適用於無鉛製造進程,符合許多工業和政府關於無鉛零組件的規章。

Bourns 的晶片二極體符合 JEDEC 規範,平整式的產品結構更方便使用於標準 SMD 設備,不似一般管狀封包的零件有滾動之虞。
