RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 6, 2017 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, today announced that it has received TTI's Global Operations Excellence Award. For the second consecutive year, Bourns has won this prestigious award. In its sixth year, the Global Operations Excellence Award recognizes the supplier who earns the award in all three TTI regions – Americas, EMEA, and Asia, and who scores the highest total points globally. TTI's Supplier Excellence Award program measures on-time delivery, receiving quality, customer-reported quality, administrative quality, operations and business systems as well as quantifying sales and management support performance.
In addition, for the fourth successive year, Bourns' operations worldwide were honored with the TTI Supplier Excellence Award at the highest Platinum level. To achieve their Platinum level, TTI requires the supplier to earn five consecutive years of award recognition as well as continuous recognition each year to maintain Platinum status. Bourns' European and Asia operations were also separately awarded TTI's Diamond Award for the highest overall point achievement in their regions. Bourns Asia also received TTI's Best Quality Award for the supplier who scored highest in each of the quality categories. The awards were given at the TTI Supplier Executive Breakfast meeting held during the Electronic Distribution Show (EDS) in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
