RIVERSIDE, Calif., June 13, 2016 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components, announced the Tijuana, Mexico operations of Bourns de Mexico have been awarded the Quality Excellence Award by General Motors (GM). The award recognizes the surpassing of the excellence guidelines set by GM, and Bourns' contribution to the quality manufacture of GM vehicles. Bourns de Mexico supplies chassis sensors to GM.
Jesus Munoz, GM Supplier Quality Manager, presented the award to Jeff Pyle, Vice President and General Manager of the Bourns Automotive Division, and Enrique Vega, head of the Bourns de Mexico Automotive Operations in Tijuana.
"The award is one of the most prestigious received by Bourns de Mexico, and recognizes the excellent quality culture we have built here in Tijuana," explained Vega.
