Featuring a high current rating and a robust metal strip element, Bourns® AEC-Q200 compliant jumpers enable designers to connect separated points on a PCB
RIVERSIDE, Calif., January 29, 2024 - Bourns, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic components for power, protection, and sensing solutions, today announced the Model CRF Series High Power Metal Strip Jumper. Also known as zero ohm resistors, jumpers feature very low resistance values, and are used to connect separated points that cannot be connected via printed traces on a PCB. Compared to thick film jumpers, Bourns' new AEC-Q200 compliant high power jumpers offer a higher current rating and lower resistance, making them well-suited for broad range of consumer, industrial, telecommunication and automotive designs.
Bourns® new Model CRF Series zero ohm jumpers are manufactured using copper alloy with a protective overcoat material, and are offered in four different footprint sizes; 0805, 1206, 2010 and 2512, and provide a maximum resistance value of 0.2 milliohms. They feature a high current rating up to 100 A, an operating temperature range of -55 °C to +150 °C and are available in tape and reel packaging.
The Bourns® Model CRF Series high power metal strip jumper is available now. These models are RoHS compliant* and halogen free**. For more detailed product information, please see: www.bourns.com/products/resistors/fixed-resistors-aec-q200-compliant-resistors.
