Bourns’ Model 3382 rotary position sensor has a shaftless, surface-mount design that features exceptional performance characteristics including a broad operating temperature range (-40ºC to +120ºC), and great independent linearity (+2%) for its compact size. This device is well suited for applications that require frequent adjustment where it is necessary to control a variable output such as frequency, speed, contrast, brightness intensity, or volume control. The design is also a good solution for applications where a mechanical angular displacement is measured by the device’s proportional ouput signal.

Bourns’ Model 3382 12mm dust-proof rotary position sensor is available now in production quantities. As a pricing reference, the Model 3382 is offered in the price range of $1.10 to $1.20 for 1,000 piece quantities through distribution.
